Hot Spring Bath in Inishie no Yado Keiun

The facilities were lovely, with both a nice big wooden bath in the room, and public and four (though one was temporarily closed) private baths. The area don't get too many non-Japanese tourists, so it helps if you know a smattering of Japanese, but the staff also have translation devices on hand to help. It was also nice that you could opt out of the ryokan dinner, which we did so we could discover local restaurants, but make sure to have a car if that's what you're planning to do.

Very comfortable Japanese hot spring hotel, no need to worry about language problems, some staff speak English or use translation App. The bath and food are amazing, I recommend half-board booking for better experience. It’s location is close to Shrines and museums, within walking distance. Special thanks to three staff members: Inomata Ryu, Iwata Natsu and Ishibashi Chika.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast that came with my reservation was worth getting up for early. It was filling and delicious. There were private baths which you could freely use as long as they’re not in use. Their shampoo and body soap smelled nice and I liked how they had free ice candy and yakult. Too bad I couldn’t try their late night ramen!

Izumo is a sleepy town but deep in history, Inishie no Yado Keiun just made my stay more meaningful in the cultural experience and understanding of the place. The staff are super friendly thou they don’t speak English, they made huge effort to use electronic translator and such to communicate. I really like the place a lot.

Clean, quiet, great food, staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the onsen in our room, and the self grinding coffee was excellent, beautifully decorated.
